Gary Meanor, CLF®  - Financial Professional – Comprehensive Financial Planning, Investments, Business Succession and Estate Planning Strategies1

Gary offers life insurance, annuities and investment products and services to small business owners, families and pre-retirees.  He conducts his practice with a positive approach with a strong sense of commitment and dedication to his clients' objectives.  Gary Meanor began his career 27 years ago with Prudential.  Three years later he moved his practice to The MONY Group, the company was eventually acquired by Equitable Financial, the principal US subsidiary of Equitable Group, a worldwide leader in financial protection strategies and wealth management.  Gary received his B.S. from Arcadia University.  He is a member of Central Pennsylvania Estate Planning Council.



Terry Light, J.D.- Financial Professional- Estate Planning Strategies and Administration

Terry Light has practiced extensively for 35 years in estate planning and administration and has been affiliated with Equitable Advisors as a financial, retirement, and legacy professional since 2004.  Terry was the valedictorian of his class at Palmyra, graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1969, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctor from the Harvard Law School in 1974.  Terry began the practice of law in Lewisburg, where he still practices.  Terry has been married to Barbara for 42 years and they have two sons, Andrew and Jonathan, and three grandsons.    


David D. Brain, MBA, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, Director of Insurance and Advanced Planning

David has worked in the financial services field for over 25 years. His main focus is consulting on advanced cases with fellow financial services professionals. He has extensive experience working with business owners and helping families plan for the distribution of their estates. He also conducts numerous seminars for clients and associates. Prior to joining Karr Barth in 1993, David worked in the Equitable Advisors' Miami office and with Connecticut National Bank. He is a member and volunteers on several committees for the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Jim is an innovative wealth planning strategist with over 35 years of experience in business and personal estate and gift planning, primarily for high net worth individuals and families with closely-held business interests. He has worked with clients and their legal and tax advisors to implement individual and business financial plans. He also has experience in the design and operation of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Jim has authored numerous articles and training programs for financial professionals regarding financial, investment, and estate planning. He received his B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University, his J.D. and LL.M (tEquitabletion) from Temple University School of Law, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
